Veterans Town Hall
VA Long Beach will host a Town Hall on March 10, 6-8 p.m., in building 165, Learning Center Auditorium, to hear directly from its Veterans on what is and isn’t working.
In keeping with VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald’s commitment to improve communication, VA Long Beach Healthcare System and Los Angeles Regional Benefits Office, invite Veterans, their family members, and community stakeholders to join us for a Town Hall.
The event is part of a nationwide effort by VA medical centers and VA Benefits offices across the country to improve communication with, and hear directly from, Veterans.
“Caring for Veterans is a calling, and our first commitment is to provide Veterans and their families the timely, quality care and benefits they have earned and deserve through their service to our Nation,” said Secretary McDonald. “As we seek continual improvement and to rebuild trust among Veterans, it is critical that we continue to listen and learn directly from those who use our system.”
Members of senior leadership and staff from the medical center and the benefits office will be on hand to take direct feedback and answer questions and concerns regarding benefits, compensations, pension, insurance, vocational rehabilitation and employment as well as health care.
