VA Long Beach Healthcare System has developed a Patient Handout and Resource Guide, listing our Departments and their telephone extensions, as well as other helpful contact information.

Administrative hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Emergencies are seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you have a compliment, complaint, or other issue which you need help with, please ask to speak with Patient Ambassador in the area you are visiting. Our Former Prisoners of War Advocate can provide special assistance to former POWs. Contact Ophelia R. Tracy at 562-826-8000 ext. 3895, or visit Building 125, room W-125 in the medical center.


Minority Veterans Outreach Coordinator

The Minority Veterans Program conducts outreach activities, shares information and serves as a resource contact for the exchange of information for improvement of services available to Minority Veterans. For information please contact Tenille Jones at 562-826-8000 ext. 2908.

Inquiry Routing and Information System

VA has established an inquiry routing and information system (IRIS), which provides answers to frequently-asked questions. You may also use this system to submit a comment, question, or concern.
