We continue to vaccinate our Veterans at the highest risk due to both age and health condition, as well as our health care workers. As the supply chain of vaccine continues to expand, so will our program.
We’re working to get COVID-19 vaccines to Veterans as quickly and safely as possible based on CDC guidelines and available supply. Veterans are asked to sign up to help us understand the interest in getting a vaccine.

VA Long Beach and American Legion are hosting a COVID-19 Testing and Flu Shot clinic for Veterans enrolled in VA health care on Saturday, November 7, 2020, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at 215 15th St, Newport Beach, CA 92663
Effective July 1, Veterans coming in for blood tests should go to Room 1W102 by the entrance of Bldg. 126, instead of the second floor. This larger room fits more blood draw stations compliant with social distancing.
VA Long Beach Healthcare System has started offering COVID-19 drive-thru testing by appointment. Veterans already enrolled in VA health care can schedule their appointments to be tested by calling 562-826-5151.
As part of VA’s Fourth Mission, VA Long Beach accepted the mission assignment from the California Department of Public Health to support a nursing home with a surge in coronavirus disease 2019 among its residents.
